Dearly Beloved,
Blessings and greetings to you from hot and dry, North
Texas. It is our privilege to send greetings and report the
Lord’s blessings upon us and the ministry that He has placed
us in.
I was thinking about the unique call of God which comes
to each of us—first to salvation, then to sanctification, and
finally to service. I have identified five distinct areas of His
calling, I will not get into them here for time’s sake. I just
wanted to notice that in His call there is contained:
1. The Authority of His Command; It is God’s work not
ours.
2. The Accompaniment of His Enablement; Whom He calls,
He enables.
3. The Adequate Provisions for the needs of those who are
the called.
All these things say that we can successfully do the work He has called us to.
April began with Revival at College Heights BC in Temple, TX, Pastor Albert Gregg, the next week was Revival
at Calvary BC in Hempstead, TX, Pastor Ken Shelton. May began with Revival at Memorial BC in Oakwood, TX,
Pastor Paul Pryor, we traveled to Stillwell, OK for a Missions Revival at Fellowship BC, Pastor Jim Sanders. We
travelled to Alvin, TX. for the graduation of our grandson, Brady Jared Hudson. We had a great time of family
and fun.
While in the Gulf Coast region I preached 3 messages for Wild Peach BC in Brazoria, TX. This great church had
called a new pastor; and were in the interim for his arrival. We traveled from
the Gulf Coast, had a Sunday AM at Metropolitan, then preached
PM at Parkview BC at Childress, Pastor Don MacFarland.
From Childress to Camp Masterson at Dumas, TX. We had
a wonderful week of camp. I believe 23 were saved and 3
surrendered for ministry. We had our third Texas Theological
University graduation, at Metropolitan BC, our home church
the last Sunday PM in June.

The Lord has kept us busy this spring, for which we are
thankful. We are a little late getting this letter out. It seems we
never get caught up here. But one day we will sit down by the
river and praise the Lamb who is worthy for about 1,000 years.
There will be no pressures, tears, disappointments over there.
It will be worth it all.
Thank you for taking time to read this letter. As always we are
available and eager to serve and assist you pastor. Our ministry
is one of faith. We trust God to open doors for service where he
would have us go. Thanks for all your prayers and support for
us. Please remember us when you pray
