Following is the text version of the May newsletter:
May 2009
Dear Friends,
Greetings to you in the sweet and precious Name of Jesus, we are grateful to be able to send this second report for 2009. We are living in a different time than any we have known in our lifetime are we not? Yet our Lord’s hand is in the midst. The songwriter said well; “God is so good to give us so many blessings, we’re undeserving, that’s what we are.” This does not mean that we don’t know trials. If we are his child, in this world we will have tribulations. But in them all He blesses us with growth, peace, joy (even in our tears). We can be sure that each heartache is ours just to draw us to Him and to increase our faith.
We have been blessed to minister in the following services since our last report. Bro, Joe Hocking and Bodine BC, Okla City, OK for their Missions Colloquium; Bro. Otis Medley and Fremont BC, Florence, CO Family Revival; Bro. Billy Borho, Salado, TX Days of Refreshing; Bro Joel Weaver, Heritage BC, Lufkin, TX; Bro BJ Craig, Revival; Bro. Gary Brittain, Calvary BC, Arcola, TX Missions Conf.; Bro. Albert Gregg, College Hts. BC, Temple, TX, Revival. We were privileged to fill for our pastor on a couple of occasions also. I am thankful for each of these churches. I do not take lightly the ministry of encouragement to Saints and evangelization of lost Souls in the churches where we serve.
My burden for these churches is great, they are the hope of our day. I am praying that the Lord will do a special work in them and in others across our country. The need of America is great and the hope of America is not in Democrat of Republican. It is in the Lord sending revival in churches across this country. Local churches that are led by called and gifted individuals, filled with born-again folk, who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. These are those who “have an ear to hear what the Spirit saith to His churches”. God told John to send the Revelation of Jesus Christ “unto the seven churches in Asia”(Rev. 1:11); Note-it is not to the “church in Asia”. Jesus still walks in the midst of His churches. He still works in the midst of His churches. He promised to preserve a nation through “My people who are called by my name”.
We have open dates in our itinerary for about any month for the remainder of the year. Pastor we would love to try to be a help to you and your church. If you feel so led of the Lord we will do all that we can to accommodate you. Every place we serve is important to us, our desire is to be an encouragement to people and pastor. We take every ministry opportunity seriously and earnestly pray for God to use us where we will go this year. Our ministry is one of Faith, we trust the Lord to touch the hearts of those He would have us serve and open doors. Our contact information is on this letter.
