Dear Friends,
Greetings in the sweet and precious Name of Jesus, His is a Name above all others. What a lovely Name, the Name of Jesus, Who is the Author and Finisher of our Faith, Paul said, “In Him we live and move and have our being”. The Psalmist finished his Hallelujah chorus with (Psalms 150:6); “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.”
In these perilous times we need the Savior, Amen? The move away from God is now progressing at such a rate that it’s hard to imagine all that is coming against God’s church, families and individuals. The news of what is going on in our country brings much discouragement, disillusionment, and fear. Yet we are admonished; “Be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” We should not be surprised or dismayed over these days. These dark days bring us as Christians an unprecedented opportunity to - “shine as lights in the world, holding forth the Word of Life.” Remember that there is still a Race to be Run and a Crown to be Won.
Since our last report we have been blessed to minister to the following churches. We covered 3 good services for Pastor Lonnie Collier at Prairie Vista Baptist Church at Godley, TX, had “Bible on the Bosque”- outdoor meeting on the Bosque River with Pastor George Watson & Fundamental Baptist Church at Clifton, TX, Sunday with Roger Noel at Cleburne TX Baptist Temple, Metropolitan Baptist Church, Ft Worth, TX, Timothy Endeavor Bible College Graduation-Pastor Larry Adkisson, Camp Masterson at Dumas, TX-Pastor Jimmy Gilmore, Memorial Baptist Church at Oakwood, TX-Pastor Paul Pryor, and Dyersdale Baptist Church at Coldspring, TX-Pastor Ken Jackson. If there is one word for these services in the last couple of months it is encouragement. We have seen the Lord work week after week. In addition we were in some church anniversary services, one ordination to ministry, and conducted a funeral for a precious Saint of God. We praise God for the privilege of representing Him and for keeping us busy.
August and September are pretty well booked up. But we have openings in October, November and December. We have a few dates for 2010 but plenty of open dates. Pastor we would love to try to be of help to you and your church. If you feel so led of the Lord, we will do all that we can to accommodate you. Every place we serve is important to us. Our desire is to be an encouragement to people and pastor. We take every ministry opportunity seriously and earnestly pray for God to use us where we go. Our ministry is one of Faith. We trust the Lord to touch hearts of those He would have us to serve and open doors for service.
