Dear Friends, Loved Ones and Prayer Partners,
Greetings in the sweet Name of Jesus, He is a wonderful Savior. It is incredible how fast time passes by. We are half way through with 2010 and it seems we just started. Brethren there is an urgency in the day we live in, Amen? Jeremiah said “the day goeth away, the shadows of evening are stretched out.” Jesus said, “I must work the works of Him that sent me while it is yet day, the night cometh when no man can work.” Paul said, “And that knowing the time, that it is high time to awake out of sleep for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” What we will do for the Lord must be done now. Souls are in the balance while we are distracted with issues such as; financial, political, social, or self. God! Please sharpen our focus, and humble our hearts to do your will.
I filled the pulpit a couple of times in April for my pastor Larry Adkisson who was ill. We had a good family week in Boston, MA where my son Kevin ran the Boston Marathon. We attended Word of Truth BC, Pastor Edward Cross in No. Atteboro, MA. I was in a Missions Revival with Oscar Gomez at Monte de Olives BC, Balch Springs, TX. Here is a church and pastor that are really getting the job done in the Hispanic population of the Dallas area. I preached 87th Anniversary services at Metropolitan BC, Fort Worth, TX (our home church). Several youth were saved in Revival at Memorial BC, Oakwood, TX, Pastor Paul Pryor. We were in a powerful week of Missions Revival at Wild Peach BC, Pastor John Brewer. We closed out May at Memorial Day Fellowship at Calvary BC in Wichita Falls, TX, Pastor Danny Hodgkins.
We are pretty full in June but have many open dates for the rest of the year. Pastor if you feel so led of the Lord; we will do all that we can to accommodate you. There are no big or little churches, no important or less important pastors in the Lord’s economy. With Jonathan we must say, He certainly is not limited by few or many. As we go, we come under the burden for the people and pastors where we are. Our ministry is one of faith. We trust the Lord to touch hearts and open doors for service where He would have us serve.
